Flesh was shut down in an earlier beta state, since the game already has a GUI editor. You can download the latest version - Flash source code is included.

About Flesh

Flesh was a GUI editor for id Software's latest game engine, DOOM 3. Thanks to DOOM 3's powerful scripting system, complex interactive interfaces can be built and used in several places in the game - in menus, on the HUD, in user windows, and even on the game meshes themselves.

While all you really need to create powerful scripts is a text editor (since the GUI is all code and textures), Flesh was meant to help in this task by using a more visual approach. It uses a "rich" generic interface that takes a lot from well-known visual editing packages, while keeping focused creating content for the DOOM 3 environment.

The project was shut down on mid-august/2004 as the game already had a good GUI editor shipped with it and Flesh was not needed anymore. This page will be kept online for archival purposes.

Flesh is supported by DOOM3WORLD.ORG

Flesh was my exercise in learning more about DOOM 3 scripting. It was coded by Zeh Fernando - my website is here and I can be reached by the email z [AT] zeh.com.br.
